Session frequency varies for each person's circumstances. How much your symptoms are bothering you and what types of symptoms you have factor into recommended session frequency.
Options for therapy are flexible and collaborative. Typically, people attend therapy weekly, every other week, or monthly, depending on their needs. Some clients may also opt for longer therapy sessions or more than one session in a week.
The length of therapy varies from person to person. Many clients begin to experience improvement in symptoms within a few sessions. On the short end, therapy can last for 2-3 months. On the long end, therapy may last for years or even indefinitely, as some folks may still come to therapy for "maintenance" or "upkeep" of their mental health. It is important to know that you are in charge of your therapy, and can always choose to discontinue or take a break if you want, with absolutely no hard feelings, and an open door to return.
Individual sessions are $135/hour. Upon request, we are happy to provide documentation to submit to your insurance (called a superbill) for possible reimbursement. We do offer a limited number of sliding scale spots, so if finances are a challenge, please let us know.
We accept payment via HSA/FSA, other major credit/debit cards, cash, or check.
